Joan Ruth Bader Ginsburg was an American lawyer and jurist who served as an associate justice of the Supreme Court of the United States from 1993 until her death in 2020. She spent much of her legal career as an advocate for gender equality and women’s rights
In a July 2009 interview with The New York Times, Ginsburg said the here printed quote: “The basic thing is that the government has no business making that choice [to get an abortion or not] for a woman.”, which unfortunately is again of great relevance today.
