Mermaids are creatures of the sea that appear in the folklore of many cultures worldwide throughout time, including Europe, Asia and Africa. Some tales tell about death bringing monsters and other about beautiful half-women that are favourable towards humans. This mermaid however embodies the sea itself with her beautiful long and wave-like hair, full of seaweed and shells.
